Our 2025 sustainability report: honest, concrete and in line with the European standard
Our 2025 sustainability report: honest, concrete and in line with the European standard
BOSS paints and colora are publishing a completely renewed sustainability report. It shows where we stand on climate, people, circularity, product safety and social engagement. With results, but also with the challenges that still lie ahead.
With our Brave Green plan, we are building a more sustainable company, based on five pillars: Climate, Colleague, Circular, Confidence and Community. The new report shows what that plan looks like in practice today.
We prepared the report according to the VSME framework of the European Commission. We are not required to do so, but we want to report transparently and comparably today.
Some results from 2025:
Our own CO₂ emissions (scope 1 and 2) fell by 46% compared with 2012.
More than 80% of our company cars are electric.
No BOSS paints product contained a substance of very high concern (SVHC).
Since summer 2026, all our own plastic packaging contains 50% recycled material.
At the same time, we are honest about where the biggest challenge lies: most of our emissions come from the raw materials for our paint. We will focus strongly on this in the coming years, together with suppliers and partners.
